Hello! I'm Mackenzie Dunn. Welcome to my website!
I am currently a second-year graduate student at the University of Southern Mississippi, where I am a candidate for the Master of Fine Arts in Costume Design and Technology under the mentorship and supervision of J. Theresa Bush and Kelly James Penot.
My undergraduate degree was spent studying theatre design and technology under Melanie Harris and Cody Stockstill at Mississippi State University. I have designed productions for both universities ranging from the contemporary Blues for an Alabama Sky, to American classics such as The Crucible and You Can’t Take It with You!
I worked for two summers as a designer and design assistant for William Carey Dinner Theatre in Hattiesburg, Mississippi. Most recently, I completed the stitching and wardrobe apprenticeship with the Santa Fe Opera, where I was given the opportunity to design two scenes for the end-of-season Apprentice Showcase.
